Join ACIS — Add Your Voice, Shape the Future
ACIS Membership 2025-2026
The Australasian Centre for Italian Studies (ACIS) is a registered not-for-profit organisation dedicated to advancing culture and education in Italian Studies. We champion high-level teaching, research, and engagement across Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand; support postgraduates and early-career researchers; convene a biennial conference for members and the public; fund scholarships, prizes, and fellowships; and help publish new work that moves the field forward.
Why join now?
When you join ACIS, you’re not just signing up — you shape the future of ACIS and Italian Studies in Australia and Aotearoa/New Zealand:

- Contribute actively. Serve on committees, propose initiatives, mentor emerging scholars, and help deliver events and publications that amplify Italian Studies.
- Save 40% on 2026 ACIS Conference registration.
- Early-bird perk: the first 20 new members to join receive a 2026 Italian Film Festival pass valid in Australia and New Zealand.
- Stay connected with our fortnightly newsletter — calls for papers, grants, jobs, teaching resources, and community events.
